Tough Pill! The “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” (Obamacare)
has passed and is now the law of the land and until a new truly “Conservative” Republican President has signed
repeal legislation or we have elected enough “Conservative” Republicans to override a veto then it will remain
law. However violence and death threats will not help the cause and could potential derail any repeal or reform efforts and
should be condemned by all Americans. President
Obama describes the tea party movement as a "loose amalgam of forces," some of whom are "legitimately concerned
about the deficit" and "There's a part of the tea party movement that actually did exist before I was elected,"
he said in an interview aired Tuesday on NBC's "Today" show. "There's some folks who just weren't
sure whether I was born in the United States, whether I was a socialist. So there's that segment of it, which I think is
just dug in ideologically." It will take
several years to undo this abuse of powers and travesty against the American people – some portions of the law will
probably remain especially the parts already underway. It’s
not too late but we must transform our frustration into action and our anger into participation in the grassroots work required
or we will not get our county back. (see my latest
Blog at http://craigvadams.blogspot.com for information on grassroots campaigning). A truly
high level of participation in the process will be the only true means of repealing this unconstitutional assault on our freedoms.
Participation is worthless without proper education and accurate and current information. Study and then get involved, write
your Congressmen and Senators and demand that they pledge to repeal and reform the new healthcare laws. Call your family members
and talk with your friends and neighbors – we must spread the word! Voting for Republican candidates at first glance appears to be the solution but just like years past
many moderates and liberals have been elected as Republicans because they otherwise wouldn’t have a chance. However,
many of these are frauds and are actually “Republicans In Name Only (RINOS).” We must take our time and investigate
these candidates for it’s much easier to vote against someone then it is to remove them once elected.
